Jumbo Wild is a film by award winning Sweetgrass Productions that documents a 24-year battle of skiers, riders, alpinists, conservationists and First Nations to save the Jumbo Valley of British Columbia’s Purcell Mountains from development.
The Jumbo Glacier Resort is a year-round ski resort proposed in the Jumbo Valley, located in the heart of British Columbia’s Purcell Mountains. The resort would occupy 6,000 hectares of land. Despite overwhelming opposition, development has continued to move forward…
